Kinza Hussain is our Registered Dietitian, based at our George branch. She completed a B.Sc. Honours Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Cape Town. She went on to do her community service at Kopanong Provincial Hospital in Vereeniging where she gained experience in the Paediatric, TB, General medicine and Surgical wards as well as the Diabetic, HIV and Cerebral Palsy clinics. Shortly after, Kinza joined the Heart and Stroke Foundation team to continue feeding her passion for public health. She stands for the promotion of evidence-based practise and uses her research skills to inform and empower communities to take charge of their lifestyle and consequently, overall health.
